With close to two decades of experience in education, Genevieve Thomas brings diverse experience and deep expertise to her work with schools and districts. Genevieve has served large and small districts, both urban and rural, in roles ranging from a special education teacher to a district level leader. She has experience in both the traditional public and the charter sectors, and she has had extensive opportunities to coach others in roles from classroom teachers to senior leadership.
Genevieve has designed and delivered professional learning experiences at the local and national levels, and her areas of expertise include literacy instruction and intervention, special education policies and best practices for diverse learners with a focus on dyslexia and other reading disabilities, and the use of data to drive continuous improvement within multi-tiered systems of support.
